Petit artisan britannique dont l’influence commence à s’étendre, Noble place la barre très haut en dévoilant sa M600, une supercar à la ligne générale relativement sobre, dotée d’un V8 4,4 litres d’origine Volvo suralimenté par deux turbocompresseurs Garett qui affiche une puissance bestiale de 650 chevaux. Conçue pour jouer dans la cour de la Porsche Carrera GT, la belle affiche une vitesse maximale de 360 km/h et abat le 0 à 100 km/h en 3 secondes seulement. Dépourvue de systèmes d’assistance comme l’ABS ou l’ESP et conçue autour d’un châssis en acier et fibre de carbone, la M600 ne pèse que 1 274 kg … pour 650 chevaux. Pour ceux que cela effraye, sachez que la M600 peut être reprogrammée pour ne relacher que 550ch, voire seulement 450ch. Même si l’on a encore peu d’informations sur sa disponibilité et son tarif, la Noble M600 sera officiellement dévoilée lors du prochain Goodwood Revival, du 19 au 21 septembre prochain. Enjoy !

[...] Presented for the first time in August 2009 on Luxury Issues, a small return on the beautiful Noble M600, a supercar of British origin in the general line relatively sober, powered by a V8 4.4 liter supercharged Yamaha home by two turbochargers, which has an output of 650 horsepower beast. But that’s not all, to modulate the whole cavalry, three modes “Road”, “Track ” and “Race” are available and allow drivers to vary the power between 450, 550 and 650 horses. Performance-wise, this translates into a 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.5 seconds shot and a 0 to 200 km / h in 8.9 seconds for a maximum claimed speed to 362 km / h. Designed around a steel chassis and carbon fiber bodywork and also carbon fiber, the beautiful displays a weight of 1,200 kg, or nearly 74 kg less than the prototype. Convinced? Good thing, since production has just begun and the first models will be delivered starting in summer 2011 for a price of around 250 000 euros.
